Ellie Lang-Ree is sure of a lot of things but gender isn’t one of them. Growing up in Santa Cruz, California, they gained a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a pathological hatred of ants. When they aren’t leading their classroom of wild middle school theater kids, they can be found 90 feet underwater as a certified SCUBA diver or 8,000 feet high camping in the Sierras. Their first role was a chicken named Nugget in the fan-favorite classic Chicken Little at age five, but their favorite role has been Little Sally in Urinetown at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. They love stories that uplift trans voices and being immersed in fantasy and sci-fi worlds of imagination. They’re convinced that their cat Ivy is the cutest on the planet so please don’t suggest otherwise.
